CUPE 116 Collective Agreement Aquatic Centre Collective Agreement In January 2020, the bargaining teams for UBC and the Faculty Association agreed on a new contract for the period July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. A membership information sheet was published (available on our negotiating blog) and the collective agreement was ratified by both parties in February 2020. A compendium of the agreement has also been published. The employees of Point Grey Campus as trades, food and hospitality services, technicians and research assistants, as well as in various positions covered by schedule A. CUPE 116`s CUPE 116 agreement, also represents aquatic Centre staff under a separate collective agreement. A complaint arises if there is a disagreement between a resident and the employer. All changes to the collective agreement will come into effect for the first pay period after ratification, unless otherwise stated in the agreement. A resident summoned to appear is placed on leave for the time required for judicial service.
